As a chill begins to fill the air and sends shivers down spines, fans of the macabre can rejoice as Halloween approaches. Fill every moment with fear during spooky season with these 10 terrifying series on Peacock, including Originals and fan favorites. 

1. Teacup

Inspired by the New York Times bestselling novel Stinger by Robert McCammon, producer James Wan, and showrunner Ian McCulloch partner for the Original series, Teacup. This bone-chilling thriller, starring Scott Speedman and Yvonne Strahovski, is about mysterious events at a secluded Georgia farm that begin to unsettle its neighbors.

2. Hysteria!

Led by Modern Family’s Julie Bowen and Pitch Perfect’s Anna Camp, an ensemble of young actors portray high school teens pretending to be Satanists, bringing unwanted supernatural attention to their town. Created by Matthew Scott Kane, Hysteria! is an Original series set in the 1980s and inspired by the decade’s “Satanic panic” era.

3. Chucky

The iconic killer doll, Chucky, continues his terrorizing rampage for a new generation after he is found at a yard sale in a New Jersey town. Chucky mastermind Don Mancini perfectly blends horror and comedy in this 2021 continuation of the Child’s Play franchise.

4. Death Walker With Nick Groff

Fans of real-life horror can get their supernatural fix by following along a cross-country journey with paranormal investigator Nick Groff. Explore notorious haunted buildings and decide for yourself if you believe in ghosts.

5. The Girl in the Woods

Much like the title warns, this Original series reinforces why you shouldn’t roam the woods alone. A teen runaway enlists the help of new friends in a small town to combat monstrous creatures that terrify the forest around them.

6. The Purge

If you can’t get enough of The Purge franchise, you’re in luck! The dystopian horror saga continues with a two-season anthology series that asks what would happen if, for only 12 hours, all crime was legal. Like the movies, it focuses on the frightening events of a terrifying evening for an unlucky group of people.

7. Grimm

For fans of the Brothers Grimm and other twisted fables, this series is loosely based on characters and stories from Grimm’s Fairy Tales but with a modern update. Grimm follows a Portland detective from a fantastical lineage of warriors who must defend the city from dangerous creatures.

Unlike most movies or shows about the undead, this series offers a refreshing take on the soulless ghoul’s stories. In the Flesh follows the life of a rehabilitated zombie teenager who attempts to reintegrate with society.

Sometimes you need to escape the horrors of your own home, like the unfortunate residents featured in this British supernatural drama. In Bedlam, occupants of an apartment building that was converted from a pre-Victorian psychiatric asylum start experiencing supernatural happenings.

10. The Fades

There’s only so much one can do when dreams become nightmares and start blending with reality. The miniseries follows a young man who starts having apocalyptic dreams and sees spirits he must fight in order to save the world from ending.
