SNL50: Beyond Saturday Night
Each episode of this four-part docuseries delves into one aspect of the rich history of SNL, taking us inside the audition process, the writers’ room, the fan-favorite "More Cowbell" sketch, and the pivotal season 11. Fans can expect never-before-seen footage and more than 60 contributors from past seasons.
“Taken together, these standalone episodes give a new perspective of SNL and what makes it work,” said executive producer Morgan Neville.
All episodes of SNL50: Beyond Saturday Night will premiere Jan 16 on Peacock.
Ladies and Gentlemen ... 50 Years of SNL Music
Ladies & Gentlemen … 50 Years of SNL Music is a feature-length documentary featuring the untold stories behind the culture-defining, groundbreaking and news-making musical performances, sketches, and cameos of the past 50 years. Co-directed by Questlove, the three-hour special broadcast event will showcase interviews with musical artists, cast, writers, producers, and more from SNL’s legacy.
The documentary will premiere Monday, Jan 27 at 8p ET/PT on NBC and streams the next day on Peacock.
SNL50: The Anniversary Special
The official anniversary special will take place Sunday, Feb 16 at 8p ET, broadcasting live on NBC and Peacock. This three-hour special will cap off a weekend full of festivities and surprises. While the night’s host and special guests remain a mystery, you can start the countdown now with these 50 iconic hosts.
