How to Watch Miami Dolphins vs. Philadelphia Eagles: Stream on Peacock LIVE, Schedule, Kickoff Time
The Week 7 Sunday Night Football matchup brings you a star-studded battle between the Miami Dolphins and Philadelphia Eagles. Find out where, when, and how to stream the game LIVE.
Sunday Night Football is home to some of the most thrilling matchups of the NFL season. Every week, two of the league’s toughest teams face off in primetime on Sunday’s biggest stage. This week brings the action to Philadelphia, PA where the Miami Dolphins will take on the hometown Eagles.
Miami Dolphins vs. Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football
The Dolphins and Eagles face off Sunday night in what could be a possible Super Bowl preview come February, with both teams tied for the best record in the NFL at 5-1.
The Dolphins (5-1, 1st in AFC East) are an offensive juggernaut, giving football fans nostalgia for Kurt Warner’s “Greatest Show on Turf” St. Louis Rams from 1999-2001. Feel free to look them up on YouTube! The Dolphins are averaging 499 yards per game, the 2nd-highest in NFL history through six games behind Kurt Warner and those same Rams. The Dolphins’ 223 points scored rank fifth in NFL history through six games. The Dolphins offense leads the league in total points, total yards, yards per play, total touchdowns and first downs, among plenty of others. Miami is led by Tua Tagovailoa, coming off a 2022 campaign where he was voted to the Pro Bowl after leading the NFL in passer rating and passing average. Tagovaiola is tied for the most passing touchdowns this season (14). RB Raheem Hostert leads the league in rushing touchdowns (9). Star wideout Tyreek Hill leads the league in receiving yards (814) and receiving touchdowns (6). Hill’s 814 yards is the best start to a season ever and is on pace for 2,306 yards in a 17-game season, which would shatter Calvin Johnson’s single season record (1,964) from 2012. In Week 3, Miami beat the Denver Broncos by a ridiculous 70-20, scoring the most points by an NFL team in a game since 1966.
Jalen Hurts and the defending NBC Champion Philadelphia Eagles (5-1, 1st place in NFC East) look to get back on track after suffering a shocking 20-14 loss to Zach Wilson and the New York Jets last Sunday. The Eagles were 12-0 versus the Jets coming into the game. Hurts had three interceptions (tying a career high), including a critical mistake, getting picked off by safety Tony Adams at the Jets 47-yard line up by 2 points with less than two minutes left in the game. The Jets scored the game-winning TD on the very next play. All-Pro wide receiver AJ Brown ranks second in the NFL in receiving yards (672), behind only Hill. He had seven receptions for 131 receiving yards in the loss to the Jets last weekend. Sunday night will certainly be a clash of two styles as the Eagles have the no. 9 defense in the NFL while allowing the 8th fewest yards per passing attempt. They’ve only allowed one touchdown pass of 25 yards or more, tied for fewest in the league. Philadelphia has lost its last two games against Miami, with its most recent victory over the Dolphins coming back in 2011.
Tua Tagovailoa vs. Jalen Hurts
Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa faces off against his former Alabama Crimson Tide teammate Jalen Hurts. Hurts was benched for Tagovailoa at halftime of the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship game. Alabama trailed 13-0 at the break, with Hurts just 3-for-8 with 21 passing yards. Tagovoiloa ended up throwing the game-winning touchdown pass in overtime to wide receiver DeVonta Smith in a 26-23 nailbiter to seal the National Championship for the Crimson Tide. Ironically, Smith and Hurts are now teammates and a dangerous duo for the Eagles.
