The full list of nominations for the 54th NAACP Image Awards were unveiled Jan 12, with Peacock nabbing an impressive 12 slots.
Among the nominated titles were The Best Man: The Final Chapters, Hart to Heart, and Bel-Air.
The Best Man: The Final Chapters, which premiered on Peacock Dec 22 to wide acclaim, secured seven of the 12 overall nominations — the second-most nominated TV title (shared with Black-ish). The buzzy title showed up in Outstanding Television Movie, Limited-Series or Dramatic Special. Meanwhile, Morris Chestnut, Terrence Howard, Regina Hall, Sanaa Lathan, Melissa De Sousa, and Nia Long were all recognized for their performances in a Television Movie, Limited-Series or Dramatic Special.

Three of these 12 nominations went to Bel-Air, the smash hit that is slated for a Season 2 return Feb 23. Included was Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series (Jabari Banks), and Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series (Adrian Holmes).

Rounding out the list was Kevin Hart's original talk show Hart to Heart, which landed noms for Outstanding Talk Series and Outstanding Host in a Talk or News/Information (Series or Special) – Individual or Ensemble.

The winners will be announced during a live BET telecast at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on Feb. 25 at 8p ET/5p PT. And, for the first time in three years, an in-person audience will be present to partake in this celebration of Black excellence in entertainment.
