Jurassic Park (1993) 

Eccentric industrialist John Hammond (Richard Attenborough) has struck oil. That is, he has capitalized on a cutting-edge new gene technology that has brought dinosaurs into the modern age and is eager to use them as the main attraction for a brand-new theme park. When corporate greed leads to the death of a dinosaur’s handler, Hammond invites a group — including Dr. Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern), Dr. Alan Grant (Sam Neill), and Dr. Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) — to appease his anxious stakeholders with a safety certification. On Isla Nublar, the dinosaurs quickly take control, and the gang realizes that if they wish to escape, they must overcome a vicious bloodthirst 65 million years in the making.

When hubris and greed lead a new team of dino developers to create a sophisticated and ruthless monster, it falls to a gruff raptor trainer (Chris Pratt) and an ambitious park executive (Bryce Dallas Howard) to get everyone off the island alive.
