How to Watch Tottenham Hotspur v. Manchester City: Stream on Peacock LIVE, Schedule, Kickoff Time
Two of the Premier League’s biggest heavyweights meet again when Tottenham Hotspur host Manchester City on Wednesday.

In a matchup that is known to bring goals, Spurs host Manchester City at their Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in a must-win game for both sides.
Tottenham Hotspur v. Manchester City
Currently sitting in 12th place in the Premier League table, but level on points with Crystal Palace in 13th, Spurs have been quite inconsistent this season. However, with three straight wins in the Premier League, Ange Postecoglou’s men seem to be building momentum right on time for their matchup with Manchester City. With long-term absentees Brennan Johnson, James Maddison, Destiny Udogie, and Guglielmo Vicario back from injury, Spurs have looked revitalized. With these first-team players back in the starting lineup and fresh off a convincing 4-1 victory over Ipswich on Saturday, Spurs will believe they can claim all three points over a struggling City side. To do so, they will rely on their talisman Heung-Min Son and the ever-consistent Dejan Kulusevski to lead the line. City have been prone to conceding goals on the break, so Son and Kulusevski will be crucial in sparking the counter quickly and creating chances. With Brennan Johnson reclaiming his pre-injury form and newcomer Mathys Tel building chemistry with his new teammates, the Spurs front line is looking as dangerous as ever and will be sure to cause Manchester City’s defense problems. Defensively, it appears unlikely that the first-choice center back pair of Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven will be fit for this game, meaning Postecoglou will likely turn yet again to Archie Gray and Kevin Danso to start. The return of Vicario and Udogie has restored some experience and resilience to a previously vulnerable Spurs defense. With it still unclear whether or not Erling Haaland will be fit enough to start tomorrow, Spurs will back themselves to keep a clean sheet against a City attack that looked devoid of ideas against Liverpool on Sunday.
Having been knocked out of the Champions League at the hands of Real Madrid and decimated by long-term rivals Liverpool in front of their home support, Manchester City have had a difficult week. Sitting in 4th place in the league table, albeit level on points with Newcastle in 5th, City will now set their sights on securing a top four finish and a spot in next season’s Champions League. With stiff competition from the likes of Newcastle, Bournemouth, Chelsea, and Aston Villa, it will not be easy for Pep Guardiola’s men to end the season in the top four. With only 12 games left to play, every match matters for City and a win away at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium would be vital for their hopes of finishing the season strongly. A victory against Spurs will be difficult, especially if their top goal scorer Haaland is not deemed fit enough to play. Thankfully, the City squad still boasts a plethora of talent and Guardiola will have a variety of options at his disposal. January-signing Omar Marmoush has been bright since his arrival at the Etihad and if City are to score against Spurs, Marmoush will likely be involved. Phil Foden reclaimed his Player of the Season form around a month ago, but has struggled to maintain it since. With Kevin De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva both aging, Foden is arguably the most creative force in City’s midfield and the team will rely on him to help break down a Spurs defense without its two first-choice center backs. Jeremy Doku served as the biggest threat against Liverpool this past Sunday and City may turn to him yet again to bring width and pace on the left-hand side of the pitch. Defensively, City have struggled to keep clean sheets of late. With John Stones and Manuel Akanji out injured for the long-term, Guardiola will try to find a center back partnership that is more organized and stable. Josko Gvardiol has been the biggest bright spot in City’s defense and he will be tasked with keeping Brennan Johnson quiet. Manchester City will likely aim to dominate possession away from home, but they must be more clinical and secure at the back than they have been in recent weeks if they hope to take something from this game.
