It all came down to this.

Kenny and JaNa on their final date for Love Island USA Season 6

It’s been a wild, dramatic, and emotional few weeks in the Villa. Make-ups, break-ups, challenges, and Casa led here – one couple was crowned the winners of Love Island USA Season 6. The hit reality streaming show of the summer definitely ended with a bang.

Here’s what happened in the final episodes of Love Island USA.

But the story doesn’t end here! Our Islanders will have a reunion coming to Peacock on August 19. There’s more Love Island USA in store.

[WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD!]

Meet the fam

Kendall and Nicole Love Island USA Season 6

As winners of the Mr. & Mrs. challenge last episode, Aaron and Kaylor got the chance to talk with their families. They chose Nicole, Kendall, Kordell, and Serena to also get the coveted time with their loved ones. We’re not sure if they planned it this way, but the couples with the longest relationships got to have these special moments.

  • Kaylor reconnected with her mom, stepdad, sister, brother and grandmother. Kaylor’s sister hit her with “I don’t like him,” but her parents voiced their support for their relationship.

  • Aaron had his call with his mom, brother, and grandmother who were happy for “Team Kay-ron.”

  • Nicole had time with her parents, who approved of Kendall and their growing bond.

  • Kendall talked with his mom and sister, sharing with them how he was falling for Nicole.

  • Serena spoke with her sister, brother, niece, and dog and was read a letter by her mom who couldn’t be there.

  • Kordell chatted with his godmother and dad, along with his brother Odell.

All the families were happy for the islanders and the relationships they’d made.

A surprise appearance

Kordell got an additional call from a very familiar face — Odell Beckham Jr, also known as his brother. The two caught up and Kordell introduced him to Serena. Odell gave the couple his support and invited them to see one of his games.

Skipping straight to newlyweds

Newelyweds challenge Love Island USA Season 6 Episode 34

The last challenge of the show saw wedding bells ringing — literally. The Newlyweds challenge had the girls dressed in their finest whites and the grooms in tuxedos (somewhat.). Each couple shared a kiss, tore up the dance floor, ate their wedding cake, tossed a bouquet, and escaped off to bed. Who won the challenge? Everyone! Here’s hoping their real weddings could look exactly like that.

The last supper

The Islanders had a big, family dinner to celebrate their time together. JaNa took charge in the kitchen, assigning roles as everyone did their part to prepare a nice chicken and pasta dinner. But nobody in Love Island is ever safe. Right after everyone went around the table expressing what they were grateful for and reminiscing on the memories, a text pinged the group announcing that America had been voting for their favorites — and two couples would be leaving.

Who got dumped?

  • Aaron and Kaylor

  • Rob and Kassy

Leaving the four couples to make it into the finale:

  • JaNa and Kenny

  • Leah and Miguel

  • Nicole and Kendall

  • Serena and Kordell

It was the end of an era for some of the original Islanders as they all shared emotional goodbyes.

A day of dates

The final four couples were each treated to an amazing date outside of the Villa. Kendall and Nicole went on a parasailing excursion and dined at a private beach picnic. This was a huge milestone for the two, as Kendall officially dropped the “L-word.”

Leah and Miguel rode ATVs across the Fijian countryside where they took in the landscape, shared snacks on a cliff and saw horses – yes, wild horses! Meanwhile, Serena and Kordell got to experience a drive-in movie of their time together in the villa and JaNa and Kenny had a romantic dinner “under the stars,” meaning a tree decorated with lights and messages from their loved ones. After a long six weeks in the Villa, the Islanders deserved some champagne.

Declarations of love

Leah and Miguel during the final ceremony

The Islanders had to put in some work before the final ceremony. They were tasked with writing a letter to their partner and had to find the right words to express their love. Oh man, were the tears were flowing.

At the ceremony, the couples read their love letters to their partners in front of everyone on stage. Kordell kicked it off with genuine adoration and a twist of humor, Serena shared her true feelings, and Kenny gave the line “it ends today but it also starts today.” To everyone’s surprise, JaNa did her speech in English and Spanish for Kenny. Miguel and Leah both expressed their appreciation for their time with one another in this experience and how they’ve grown together. Kendall, who previously said “I love you” to Nicole earlier in the day, was treated to a love confession from Nicole. Oh, how we love love!

While the final ceremony is all about their love, it’s still a competition. America voted for the most compatible couple to be crowned the winners of Love Island USA. Host Ariana Madix lined the couples up on stage, and the results came in.

And the winners are...

Serena and Kordell!

It’s the moment fans were waiting for! The two Islanders lasted since the beginning and, even with hiccups along the way, proved their compatibility is genuine. They even had matching outfits just like the first episode — maybe that was a sign all along.

Leah and Miguel came in second, JaNa and Kenny in third, and Nicole and Kendall wrapped up the finale in fourth place.

But the series wasn’t over. Ariana reminded our islanders that this is a competition, and Kordell and Serena put their love to the test. Each were given the option to select an envelope with either $0 or $100,000 and had to decide whether to keep the amount or split it with their partner. Kordell ended up picking the money but chose to share it with Serena. Now they can enjoy their winnings together — and potentially take that trip to Japan they talked about.

Take a bow, Islanders
