What You Need to Know Before Watching Chicago Fire Season 12
The flames are hotter than ever in Chicago Fire Season 12.

Chicago Fire Season 11 was an explosive ride, captivating us with riveting moments and a season finale that left us on the edge of our seats.
Throughout the season, we witnessed the brave firefighters of Firehouse 51 face numerous challenges and personal struggles. From intense rescue missions to emotional moments of camaraderie, each episode kept us engrossed in the lives of these dedicated heroes and salivating for their return in Chicago Fire Season 12.
Recap of Chicago Fire Season 11
The unwavering leadership of Lieutenant Herrmann (David Eigenberg) and Chief Boden (Eamonn Walker) helped steer the department through some of its most harrowing experiences this season. They tackled accidents, disasters, a high-stakes movie theater fire, and a crooked politician — events that tested every inch of their skills and resilience.
Lieutenant Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney) left his squad and marriage to pursue other interests, something that became more harrowing for his wife Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo). In the Season 11 finale, Stella went to the elite OFI training camp to reconnect with her long-distance husband, in hopes of salvaging their marriage.
We’ve rooted for Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer) and Matt Casey (Jesse Spencer) for so long, so it was quite a blow when they called things off. But fans jumped with glee when Brett was cleared to adopt Amber’s baby, and then received a surprise proposal from Casey. Spoiler Alert: she will give him her answer in the Chicago Fire Season 12 premiere.
All were in for a shock when Mouche (Christian Stolte), got hit by a stray bullet which left his life hanging in the balance, and our nerves hanging by a thread.
