Peacock does offer audio description on certain content on all supported devices. Show episodes or movies that are available with audio description will have an ‘Audio Description’ icon in the informational section.
How to turn on audio descriptions for Signed In users
On Mobile/Tablet Devices
- Open the Peacock app
- Select the show episode or movie with audio description
- Select ‘Audio & Subtitle’ option from player menu
- Select the ‘English (AD)’ option
On Web
- Open the Peacock app in a web browser
- Select the show episode or movie with audio description
- Select Language setting (‘Audio & Subtitle’) option from player menu
- Select the ‘English (AD)’ option
On Cable Provider Set Top Boxes
- Open the Peacock app on TV device
- Select the show episode or movie with audio description
- Select Audio & Subtitle option from player menu
- Select the ‘English (AD)’ option
On Connected TVs, Game Consoles and Streaming Devices
- Open the Peacock app on connected TV, game consoles and streaming devices
- Select the show episode or movie with audio description
- Select Audio & Subtitle option from player menu
- Select the ‘English (AD)’ option
Unsupported Devices for Audio Description Feature
Please note that some older devices are no longer compatible with the Audio Description feature on the Peacock app. If you are using one of the devices listed below, you may not be able to access this feature:
