Golf has only been played at the Olympic Games four times in history: 1900, 1904, 2016, and 2020. This year’s tournament will be played at Le Golf National. 60 male and female golfers will compete in stroke play for four rounds on an 18-hole course. Two-time major winner Minjee Lee will be the first Australian golfer to compete at three Olympic Games.

The men’s Olympic Golf tournament includes some of the biggest names of the PGA and DP World Tour. The tournament will take place Aug 1 – 4. Although Scottie Scheffler did not qualify for the Olympics via his PLAYERS Championship win, he has already won THE PLAYERS Championship and the Masters this year. 2024 PGA Championship and The Open Championship winner Xander Schauffele is in the medal conversation.
Olympic Women's Golf
The best female golfers from all over the world will represent their countries at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The women’s tournament takes place Aug 7 – 10. Nelly Korda won an LPGA record-tying five straight events, including the Chevron Championship. The U.S. will likely qualify four women's golfers, all medal contenders, with Lilia Vu, a two-time major winner in 2023.

Golf
Rory McIlroy is a four-time major champion. He is looking for his first Olympic medal after losing a seven-way playoff in Tokyo for the bronze medal. Rory will represent Ireland in the 2024 Paris Olympics.

World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler punched his ticket to Paris with a win at THE PLAYERS Championship in March. This will be the first time Scheffler tees off in Olympic competition.
