Charlie tops the charts as kiddie-song sensation Charlie Waffles, Alan at last meets the perfect woman, and Jake starts junior high.
A smart, independent brunette may finally turn Charlie into a man. Jake kisses a cute girl next door. Alan dates his receptionist and ends up in bed with her frisky mom.
Love may have conquered Charlie -- and he’s not the only Harper lost in love as both Alan and Jake also navigate dating.
Charlie pursues Rose but she’s married and off-limits, Alan burns down his girlfriend's house, and Jake risks his health to film a dumb stunt.
After Charlie’s untimely death, internet billionaire Walden Schmidt buys the Malibu beach house and offers to let Alan and Jake stay.
Walden’s girlfriend turns down his marriage proposal and throws him into a tailspin. Jake proposes to his girlfriend who’s twice his age, only to wind up in love with her daughter.
Alan’s previously unknown niece Jenny shows up with a parade of party ladies, there are improvements in Walden’s love life, and Berta temporarily retires.
