Looking for a medical drama to dive into? NBC’s Transplant may just be what the doctor ordered. The Canadian series returns to NBC for its fourth season on Thursday, May 22 at 8p ET/PT – just enough time for you to catch up before new episodes drop. 

What is Transplant about?

Set in a bustling Toronto hospital, NBC’s Transplant follows Bashir “Bash” Hamed (Hamza Haq), a Syrian refugee and trauma doctor rebuilding his life and career from scratch. With his younger sister Amira (Sirena Gulamgaus) by his side, Bash has survived war, loss, and endless red tape – and Season 4 finds him fighting for stability one last time as the finish line comes into view. 

What is Transplant Season 4 about?

In the new season, Bash is on the precipice of finishing his residency at York Memorial and officially requalifying as a doctor. With his future uncertain once again, Bash and his sister, Amira, are Canadian citizens now, but are still trying, with everything they have, to build a life in their adopted country. 

When will Transplant Season 4 premiere?

The medical drama returns Thursday, May 22 at 8p ET/PT on NBC with a two-hour event. Episodes will be available to stream next day on Peacock.
