Fans at San Diego Comic-Con last week got access to behind-the-scenes looks at the hit Peacock Original Those About to Die as well as a sneak peek at the upcoming James Wan horror-thriller series Teacup. If you missed the event, don’t fret! Today, Peacock shared all the exclusive content.

SDCC Highlights

Comic-Con was abuzz with a packed ballroom featuring back-to-back Peacock panels. The Those About to Die panel included director Roland Emmerich and stars Iwan Rheon, Sara Martins, Moe Hashim, Jojo Macari, Dimitri Leonidas, and Gabriella Pession. They discussed the making of the hit gladiator epic, from stunts to VFX, and the production design that brought Ancient Rome to life.

Fans also received an exclusive sneak peek at Peacock’s upcoming horror series, Teacup, with a panel featuring James Wan, Ian McCulloch, and stars Yvonne Strahovski, Scott Speedman, and Chaske Spencer. They teased the series' gory thrills and announced the Oct 10 premiere.

Those About to Die: Behind the Scenes

Go behind the scenes of Those About to Die, the epic drama set in the corrupt world of Ancient Roman gladiatorial competition. The hit show explores a side of history never before told — the dirty business of entertaining the masses, giving the mob what they want most…blood and sport.

Teacup Sneak Peek

Inspired by the New York Times bestselling novel Stinger, Teacup follows a disparate group of people in rural Georgia who must come together in the face of a mysterious threat in order to survive. “Teacup defies easy labels,” said James Wan (The Conjuring). “It's a genre-bending blend of horror, mystery, and drama, with layers that unfold like a captivating puzzle.”

Just in time for spooky season, the first two episodes of Teacup will premiere on Peacock on Thursday, Oct 10, followed by two episodes weekly through Halloween.
