The Traitors Season 3 Episode 10 Recap
A cliffhanger vote, a new power... I need a full week to unpack everything.

Things are coming down to the wire on The Traitors, with the penultimate Season 3 episode setting up what’s bound to be a jam-packed grand finale. The latest installment has it all: a player is recruited into the turret, the Traitors murder another innocent Faithful, a new game-changing power is introduced, and an intense roundtable leads to one of the most stressful votes of the season — resulting in a cliffhanger.
Here’s what happened on the dramatic 10th episode of The Traitors Season 3, “The Power of the Seer.”
Warning: Spoilers ahead!
Who Do the Traitors Murder?
The episode begins with Danielle Reyes extending the invitation to Britney Haynes to be a Traitor, who has no choice but to accept the offer (otherwise she dies). With Britney by her side in the turret, it’s the first time Danielle feels she can “wholeheartedly” trust her partner-in-crime. Being chosen to be a Traitor has also “reenergized” Britney. And so, the traitorous pair enters the turret together and gets on with the murder at hand.
Before, the Traitor gatherings were chaotic – a combination of in-fighting, trust issues, and general tension dominated the late-night turret meetings. Now, it's like night and day. Danielle and Britney are strategizing with level heads and talking through the pros and cons of each potential murder victim. They narrow down their possibilities to three players – Tom Sandoval, Lord Ivar Mountbatten, and Gabby Windey – all of whom happen to be incredibly suspicious of Danielle.
They decide to take down Tom, who, after receiving the letter from the Traitors, says he was “expecting this.” “Who’s the most threatening of the guys? Obviously me,” the Vanderpump Rules alum says.
The Traitors Have a New Target
With Tom out of their hair, that’s one less person gunning for Danielle. The Traitors have their sights set on getting Gabby out at the roundtable later that evening. Danielle and Britney are feeling good about themselves and their plan, confidence oozing out of them that all they have to do is shore up the votes with Dolores Catania and Dylan Efron, who they’ve identified as loyal, and Gabby is out the door. Easy as pie, right? Danielle is ready to roll up her sleeves, declaring to the camera that she’s going to “annihilate” Gabby at the roundtable.
Introducing The Seer
But not so fast! Danielle and Britney’s plan to get Gabby out hits a snag when a new power is introduced: The Seer. Whoever gets the power will have the ability to learn one player’s true identity – whether they’re a Faithful or a Traitor – making the Seer the game’s most valuable power.
Back Down Memory Lane
The mission has three rounds, each harkening back to past challenges. The goal is to add money into the final prize pot, but the player who collects the most money from all three rounds will win the power of the Seer. As you can imagine, new power is a hot commodity among the players, especially the Traitors who are noticeably antsy about having their roles revealed.
In round one, a group of clowns – a callback to Episode 3 – reveal skulls and $500 amounts in their cloaks before changing formations to confuse the players. Dylan is eliminated in the first go, while Gabby’s risk-taking backfires in second. Ivar and Danielle end up banking $500 each, and Dolores and Britney bank $1,000 each.
In round two, the nursery rhyme dolls from Episode 8 return. Whoever pulls the most amount of money from the dolls wins, but the risk of pulling one too many times and losing everything. Dolores and Britney add $1,400 to their totals, while Gabby, Ivar, and Dylan all max out and come up with goose eggs. Danielle secures the most amount of money with $2,000.
In the final round, the cages – a reference to how Boston Rob, Wes Bergmann, and Derrick Levasseur were introduced in Episode 2 – are back. Players have to find $100 gold coins in small sacks filled with grime and dirt, drop the coins in their respective cages, and hoist them up within the five-minute time limit. As the players scurry around digging for coins, Dylan is watching Danielle like a hawk, observing that she's desperately playing to win – a red flag. All the players get their cages up in time, but host Alan Cumming won’t reveal who has earned the Seer power until roundtable.
Fireworks at the Roundtable
If the Traitors’ goal was to banish Gabby without much of a fight from the Faithfuls, that idea crumbles when the roundtable comes. This is a crucial point in the game because it’s also the last time players will reveal if they’re a Traitor or a Faithful. Gabby throws the first punch, confronting Danielle over past suspicious behavior. Even Dylan, who’s been one of the biggest Danielle supporters, warms to the idea. Ivar is unmoving in his belief that the showdown between Danielle and Carolyn was a true Traitor vs. Traitor fight.
It’s between Danielle and Gabby from that point forward (minus Dolores, who’s still on the Ivar train for some reason). If Danielle thought the Bachelor alum was going to cave, she’s sorely mistaken. Gabby argues Danielle and Carolyn’s fight had a similar intensity to Boston Rob and Bob the Drag Queen’s face-off. Danielle’s counter is that she voted for Boston Rob twice. Well, so did Gabby, making Danielle’s argument moot. Danielle argues that the murdered players don’t make sense if she’s a Traitor, but Gabby isn’t falling for it. She specifically calls out that Tom had been throwing around Danielle’s name before he was murdered.
Gabby believes she’s an “easy target” for the Traitors to frame because she “take[s] everything on the chin,” after Danielle says she’s always thought the perfect Traitor is the “girl next door,” a not-so-subtle reference to Gabby. Danielle says Gabby is “super smart,” and Gabby has a response at the ready, firing back by saying, “I’m not saying I’m dumb.” Gabby concludes that she was kept around this long by the Traitors “for this particular moment.”
And Gabby isn't done mounting a defense. “I’m not a Traitor. If I stand up there, it’s just going to be another strong woman with a personality being falsely accused,” she pleads to the players. In response, Danielle maintains she’s a Faithful and says she doesn’t have “the stomach to be a Traitor.”
The Votes
You’d think that the votes would be split between Danielle and Gabby from the way the roundtable goes, but it’s between Danielle and Ivar. And Dylan ends up being the deciding vote. It’s an emotional vote for Dylan, who chooses to go with his head and not his heart. “Evidence is really hard to come by in this game, and I couldn’t ignore it this time,” Dylan tells Danielle before casting a vote against her.
Here are how the votes break down:
- Danielle – Ivar, Gabby, Dylan
- Ivar – Dolores, Danielle, Britney
Because it’s a tie, the players (minus Danielle and Ivar) vote again. If there’s another draw, the eliminated player will be decided with a game of chance.
Ivar makes a solid point in his final plea. If he’s banished, the group will head into the finale with two Traitors and “it will be a lot more difficult for the Faithful to actually win the game.” Danielle appeals to Dylan for his vote with her final argument, tugging at his heartstrings and begging him to believe that she’s a Faithful.
Her emotional plea doesn’t sway Dylan, who believes Danielle will win if she survives the roundtable. As the players reveal their votes, Britney is stunned when Dolores sticks with Ivar. Britney recounts watching Dolores looking over at Danielle and nodding as a hint that she was potentially changing her vote for Danielle.
Here are how the second votes break down:
- Danielle – Dylan, Gabby
- Ivar – Dolores
In true The Traitors fashion, Britney’s vote is the cliffhanger for the episode. Does she betray Danielle and vote for her fellow Traitor, or does she cast the tying vote for Ivar? More importantly, who is the Seer?
