The Traitors shakes things up with the surprise reveal of two iconic reality TV personalities, who officially join the game as part of the Faithful in Episode 2. Their unexpected presence turns everything on its head for the players already in the game – and it’s about to get interesting in the castle.

Here’s what happened in the second episode of The Traitors Season 3, “Revenge Is a Dish Best Served Cold.”

Warning: Spoilers ahead!

Who Are the Two Surprise Players?

Surprise! Two new players join The Traitors Season 3 by taking a different route than the others to enter the game. We already know Boston Rob is coming in as a Traitor, but the other two players are as good as it gets in the reality TV world.

The new players, in addition to Boston Rob, are:

  • Derrick Levasseur (Big Brother 16 winner)

  • Wes Bergmann (The Challenge

When Derrick, Wes, and Boston Rob reveal themselves to each other, they conclude that the others “aren’t going to be happy” to have three gamers roaming the castle and make an early pact to “stick together.” Is this one of the first alliances of the season?

Who Is the First Player the Traitors Murder?

The Traitors, minus Boston Rob, meet in the turret to decide who to murder. There’s not a lot to go on, so the three decide to target the Housewives to disrupt the group and stir the pot. After a lot of discussion, Traitors Danielle Reyes, Bob the Drag Queen, and Carolyn Wiger agree to murder Dorinda Medley.

The aftermath of the murder causes confusion by the Faithful over who is pulling the strings as a Traitor. Names start to pop up, such as Wells Adams, Bob the Drag Queen, Bob Harper, and Robyn Dixon, as speculation runs rampant in the castle. Wells and Robyn argue over Dorinda’s murder; Wells thinks it’s a dumb move, while Robyn believes it isn’t.

Who Is the First Player to Get Banished?

When there’s little to nothing to go on this early in the game, hearsay and rumors are the only things players have. The first roundtable is chaotic and messy as players target those they have personal vendettas against (Tom Sandoval vs. Chrishell Stause, for example) or who may have had reason to eliminate Dorinda in a retaliatory move (Lord Ivar Mountbatten, for instance).

The votes are all over the place – and we really mean it. Carolyn casts the deciding vote between Wells, Chanel Ayan, and Robyn. Unfortunately for Wells, he falls victim to an ununified front from the Faithful as he receives the most votes. Who gets credit for pushing the agenda on getting Wells out at the first banishment vote? Bob the Drag Queen.

After a dramatic slow clap, Wells reveals himself as a Faithful. His final words to the shocked group: “Playing a smart game isn’t always the smartest.”

Which Players Get Shields?

Boston Rob, Derrick, and Wes, who were safe from the banishment vote, each have shields they need to give to one player to protect from murder after the players successfully complete the episode’s mission. (The players also add $15,000 to the final pot following the mission.)

The players who earn shields are:

  • Tony Vlachos (from Boston Rob)

  • Jeremy Collins (from Wes)

  • Dylan Efron (from Derrick)

Boston Rob Crashes the Traitors Meeting

Little do the Traitors know, there’s about to be a fourth one in their midst. As Danielle, Bob the Drag Queen, and Carolyn busily scheme over who they want to murder next in the turret, they’re shocked when a mystery figure enters. They’re left speechless when Boston Rob uncloaks himself, especially Danielle since her intention was to murder him. That option is out the window as they are forced to be allies.

“Fancy seeing you here,” Boston Rob says with a smirk as Bob the Drag Queen and Carolyn laugh nervously and Danielle’s jaw drops.

With Boston Rob in the fray and the shields in play, who are the Traitors going to murder next?
