The Traitors Season 3 Has a Premiere Date
Get ready for more of Alan Cumming’s tartan kilts.
Traitors faithful, the countdown is officially on. Peacock announced that the highly anticipated Season 3 of the hit Emmy®-winning reality series, The Traitors, will premiere Thursday, Jan 9, 2025.
Alan Cumming, who returns as the stylish and witty Emmy®-winning host for “the most treacherous season yet,” surprised fans with the announcement during his Halloween Day appearance on TODAY With Hoda & Jenna.
“I’ll just say one word: brutal,” Cumming said of what viewers can look forward to in Season 3.
And expect the intensity level among the 21 new cast members, which include alums from Real Housewives, Big Brother, and Vanderpump Rules, to be at an all-time high. Cumming recalled a moment when he thought he was going to have to break up a fight.
Overall, Season 3 has “peaks and troughs,” he said. “But oh my gosh, it’s a lot!”
The Traitors has won three Emmy® Awards to date: Outstanding Casting for a Reality Program (2023), Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality Competition Program (2024), and Outstanding Reality Competition Program (2024). In Season 2, it was the #1 unscripted series in the U.S. across all streaming platforms and became a pop culture phenomenon.
