The fam is back. The hit Peacock Original series Bel-Air, a dramatic reimagining of the classic sitcom, is returning for a third season next month, and today, Peacock revealed the new season’s official trailer and a batch of first-look images.
When will Bel-Air Season 3 premiere?
Bel-Air Season 3 will premiere exclusively on Peacock Thursday, Aug 15. But rather than just being a single premiere, instead the first three episodes will drop on Aug 15, followed by new episodes weekly. So, this August, we’ll be living larger than the Bankses.
What is Bel-Air about?
Set in modern-day LA, the critically acclaimed series reimagines the beloved sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air through a new, dramatic take on Will’s complicated journey from the rough streets of West Philadelphia to the gated mansions of Bel-Air. As worlds collide, Will reckons with the power of second chances while navigating the conflicts, emotions, and biases of a world far different from the only one he’s ever known.
The show is run by executive producer Carla Banks Waddles, who says that “Bel-Air has always been a show with a strong cultural point of view” and directed by executive producer Morgan Cooper, who says that “everything has a little more kick to it” in this “next chapter of Bel-Air."
What can I expect in Bel-air Season 3?

With school out for the summer, Will (Jabari Banks) is doing Bel-Air his way. Being a part of the Banks family has given him a new perspective and the privilege to dream bigger. As Will makes an exciting pivot, he finds a partner in Carlton (Olly Sholotan), who desperately wants to rebuild his damaged reputation. While the duo has a lot of exciting wins, working together also reveals fundamental differences in their worldviews.
Pressure at work and home will also pose challenges for Viv (Cassandra Freeman) and Phil (Adrian Holmes), as Hilary’s (Coco Jones) romantic journey will face some shocking hurdles and Ashley’s (Akira Akbar) views on romance will start to blossom as she comes of age.
