Sex... with a body count?

That’s the situation facing Oscar® nominee Stephanie Hsu in the Original comedy, Laid, now streaming on Peacock. A rom-com with a fatal twist, the series centers around a woman, Ruby, who learns the exes she slept with in the past are suddenly dying under odd circumstances.

When will Laid premiere?

All eight half-hour episodes of Laid premiere Thursday, Dec 19 on Peacock. Stream Laid now on Peacock.

What is Laid about?

The "f*cked-up rom-com,” as co-creators Nahnatchka Khan and Sally Bradford McKenna describe it, follows Ruby (Hsu), a woman who discovers her former lovers are dying in unusual ways. To figure out why and to stop it from happening again, she goes back through her sex timeline — with the help of her best friend, AJ (Zosia Mamet) — to confront her past to move forward.

The series answers the question, “Why can’t I find love? Is there something wrong with me?,” with a resounding, “Yes. There is. The problem is definitely you.”

Who’s in the cast of Laid?

Hsu and Mamet are joined by principal cast members Michael Angarano and Tommy Martinez. Guest stars include Andre Hyland, Olivia Holt, David Denman, Finneas O’Connell, Chloe Fineman, Ettore “Big E” Ewen, and John Early.
