Meet the Cast of SNL's 50th Season
Studio 8H is ready.
This is it, everyone. Saturday Night Live returns for its 50th season this month (yes, really, 50) and the cast has officially been unveiled. Streaming LIVE from Rockefeller Center for nearly five decades, SNL has been a pillar for late night comedy and has earned its rightful place in television history. Now, many of your favorites will be returning and a few new faces join the mix for what’s sure to be the best season yet. They went big for the 40th Anniversary special, so who knows what executive producer Lorne Michaels and the crew have in store for the 50th.
When will SNL Season 50 premiere?
The hit sketch comedy show will debut the new season on Sept 28 at 11:30p ET/8:30p PT LIVE on NBC and Peacock. The host and musical guest for the first episode have not been announced, so more SNL news should be dropping soon. To honor the 50th anniversary, NBC will hold a celebratory weekend paying homage to the history and legacy of SNL and conclude with a three-hour live prime time special on Sunday, Feb 16 (yes, Sunday).
