Lady Gaga SNL Recap

Mother came, saw, and served.

It’s a good night when Mother Monster is in the building. Lady Gaga took over Studio 8H for a show packed with powerhouse performances, hilarious sketches, and a Weekend Update cameo that gave us a whole new version of “Gaga.” Whether she was belting out new hits from Mayhem or showing off her comedy chops, this episode was the moment.

Trump, Musk, and Rubio Meeting Cold Open

Trump, Musk, and Rubio sit down for a meeting; let’s just say productivity isn’t on the agenda. SNL kicks off with a cold open that proves some things are funnier than fiction.

Lady Gaga Monologue

Second-time SNL host Lady Gaga proves that being a pop star in your 30s means still wearing insane outfits — but now with better knee support. She also takes a moment to flex her Joker 2 acting chops (method Gaga era incoming?) before gushing over the surprisingly normal way she met her fiancé. Spoiler: No meat dresses were involved.

Funeral Home

Nothing like a respectful funeral — unless, of course, your funeral directors (Lady Gaga and Sarah Sherman) see it as the perfect excuse to debut their roaring '20s cabaret act. Grieving family? Minor detail. These two are all about sequins, jazz hands, and a show-stopping send-off. Because every celebration of life deserves a little razzle-dazzle!

Abracadabra

Lady Gaga magically wows the crowd with a performance of "Abracadabra" that’s as enchanting as it is electrifying.

A Long Goodbye

SNL just dropped the first-ever multi-set romcom centered entirely around Airwheel riding suitcases. Nothing says true love like zipping through an airport at 10 mph. Lady Gaga and Marcello Hernández star in this high-speed, luggage-fueled romance, with Hernández clutching an adorable pug the entire time (because, obviously, every great love story needs a scene-stealing sidekick).

Wonderful Tonight

First dates are always awkward, but add a full-blown song-and-dance, and you’ve got a Broadway audition and a romance in the making. Lady Gaga and Bowen Yang take "dinner and a show" way too literally, breaking into a dramatic back-and-forth while dancing mid-meal.

Weekend Update

Weekend Update brings laughs as Colin Jost and Michael Che dive into the week’s biggest headlines because who else would you trust with the news in this chaos? Then, things get extra spicy when Kendrick Perkins (Kenan Thompson) drops by to break down the 2025 NBA Playoffs, and Lord Gaga (Mikey Day) makes a royal appearance to defend his wife, Lady Gaga. It’s as dramatic as it sounds.

Pip

SNL Midnight Matinee is back, and this time, it's tugging at your heartstrings and your gains. Prepare to get way too emotionally invested in the journey of a tiny, determined weightlifting mouse. He may be small, but his dreams (and biceps) are huge.

Mascara Commercial

Say goodbye to waterproof formulas: SNL’s new mascara is designed for maximum emotional breakdowns. Whether you're sobbing in your car, staring into the mirror at 3 a.m., or just want that deranged Victorian widow aesthetic, this super-runny mascara guarantees streaks for days. Cry pretty? Never heard of her.

Little Red Glasses

Little red glasses are definitely a power move. People will take notice.

Killah

Lady Gaga brings the fire with her performance of "Killah,” delivering a high-energy, powerhouse show that’s part fierce, part fabulous, and all Gaga.

Birthday at Friendly’s

SNL gave us a cautionary tale for the ages: Never lie about your birthday for a free dessert. The karma comes swiftly, and it’s served with a side of embarrassment.

No More Slay

SNL is here to say what we've all been thinking: No more of that overused slang. Whether it’s "slay," "lit," or any other word that’s been played out, this sketch is the ultimate mic drop. It's time to retire those catchphrases — and let’s face it, some of them were already dead.
