First Look: Pete Davidson’s New Comedy Series
Get a glimpse at Joe Pesci and Pete Davidson filming Bupkis.
Here it is, folks: your first look at Pete Davidson and Joe Pesci in Bupkis, a new half-hour comedy based on Pete’s own life. In the fictionalized version, Pesci will play Pete’s grandfather and Edie Falco is set to star as Pete’s mother. That’s quite the all-star family!
In this newly released photo from the production, Davidson and Pesci appear to be in character on a boat in what we can safely assume is Staten Island.
The Peacock Original is written, starring, and executive produced by Davidson, and will combine grounded storytelling with Pete’s signature absurdism and distinctive voice.
If Pete’s recent turn in Meet Cute is any indication, his upcoming Peacock outing is sure to be packed with sharp jokes and thoughtful performances.
While you wait patiently for Bupkis to drop on Peacock, may we interest you in some fine Pete Davidson SNL sketches? They’re an excellent vintage. Go ahead, they’re on the house (if you’re a Peacock subscriber).
For you “industry heads” out there: Lorne Michaels will executive produce Bupkis with Judah Miller (showrunner) and Dave Sirus writing and executive producing alongside executive producers Andrew Singer and Erin David.
The series comes from Universal Television and Broadway Video.
