Magic Movie Night Popcorn
Ingredients
12 cups popped popcorn (prepared your favorite way)
1.5 cup white chocolate (chips, candy melts, or bark)
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp magic sprinkles
Optional add-ins
Food coloring
Candy pieces
Nuts
Pretzels
Marshmallows
Preparation
1. Pop your corn!
2. Add white chocolate and the butter to a bowl and microwave for 30 seconds, stir, then repeat until melted, about 90 seconds. If using food coloring, add to the chocolate once completely melted.
3. Add the prepared popcorn to large bowl (make sure to remove unpopped kernels — nobody likes those). Pour the melted chocolate on top and stir gently until the popcorn is coated.
4. Gently stir in the sprinkles and any additional add-ins.
5. Lay out a sheet of aluminum foil or parchment paper and spread the mixture in a thin layer on the foil. Let dry for 1-2 hours.
6. Enjoy with your favorite movie on Peacock!
Additional Info
- Two bags of microwaved popcorn should fill the recipe.
- If you pop your own popcorn, 1/2 cup of kernels should be plenty. We recommend butter and salt for additional flavor before adding the chocolate. Salty and sweet. Mmmm.
- Be careful not to burn the chocolate. If the consistency is too thick, add milk or cream to thin it out.
