NBC Sports Regional Networks Are Streaming Now on Peacock

Do you love your local team? Of course you do. Have you ever wished you could add your local games to your Peacock subscription? I’m willing to bet you have. Good news for those in the Boston, Philadelphia, Bay Area, and Northern California regions: Your local teams have arrived. You can now add your NBC Sports Regional Network to your Peacock Premium or Premium Plus subscription.  

What is an NBC Sports Regional Network? 

The NBC Sports Regional Networks (RSNs) are television networks that exhibit live MLB, NBA, and/or NHL games, pre- and post-game coverage, and other shows about local athletes, teams, and sports. The RSNs are now being offered as add-on subscriptions to Peacock Premium or Premium Plus subscribers. 
 

Which RSNs can I subscribe to on Peacock? 

Subscribers to the add-on subscriptions will have direct access to NBC Sports Bay Area, NBC Sports Boston, NBC Sports California, or NBC Sports Philadelphia to stream the network’s live 24/7 channel when they are in the respective network’s in-market territory.  

Regardless of whether an RSN is available to purchase based on a subscriber’s zip code, in-market blackouts of certain teams’ live games (including blackouts of all games for certain teams in particular zip codes) may still apply, consistent with television availability and league policies. 

Which teams can I watch on RSNs? 

NBC Sports Boston is the Home of the Boston Celtics, giving you access to LIVE NBA games from the Boston Celtics, surrounded by comprehensive pregame and postgame shows. You’ll also get access to extensive New England Patriots (NFL) coverage with live gameday and daily in-season shows. Plus, watch daily sports news, analysis, and commentary, including Early Edition and Boston Sports Tonight, along with live coverage of more teams, including the Connecticut Sun (WNBA) and Maine Celtics (NBA G League). 
 

NBC Sports Philadelphia brings you LIVE MLB games from the Philadelphia Phillies, NBA games from the Philadelphia 76ers, and NHL games from the Philadelphia Flyers, all with comprehensive pre- and post-game shows. You'll also get extensive coverage of the Philadelphia Eagles (NFL) with live gameday and daily in-season shows. 
 

NBC Sports Bay Area brings you LIVE NBA games from the Golden State Warriors and MLB games from the San Francisco Giants, all with pre- and post-game coverage. Stay up to date on the San Francisco 49ers (NFL) with LIVE gameday programming. Do I need to be in those areas to stream RSNs on Peacock? 

At this time, you must be in the RSN’s in-market territory to stream live MLB, NBA, and/or NHL games on the network as well as team content like pre- and post-game coverage. Geographic restrictions and blackouts are enforced by location determined by IP address. 
 

How much does it cost to add an RSN to my Peacock subscription? 

You can add NBC Sports Boston for an additional $14.95/mo. Add NBC Sports California and NBC Sports Bay Area each for an additional $17.95/mo. And add NBC Sports Philadelphia for an additional $24.95/mo.
