Twisters to Begin Streaming on Peacock in November

“If you feel it, chase it.” Universal’s Twisters will begin streaming exclusively on Peacock beginning Friday, Nov 15. The announcement comes on the heels of the film’s successful theatrical run, where it made more than $370 million at the box office worldwide.  

Daisy Edgar-Jones, Glen Powell, Anthony Ramos, Brandon Perea, David Corenswet, Maura Tierney, and Sasha Lane star in the blockbuster disaster film, which serves as a standalone sequel to the 1996 movie Twister. 

Twisters follows Kate (Edgar-Jones), who gave up chasing storms across the Oklahoma prairie to safely study them on screens in New York City following a devastating tornado encounter. Lured back to the field by her friend Javi (Ramos) and a once-in-a-lifetime scientific opportunity, Kate crosses paths with Tyler (Powell), a charming daredevil and self-proclaimed tornado wrangler whose thirst for tornado-tracking adventures made him a social media sensation.  

As storm season intensifies with terrifying phenomena unlike anything seen before, Kate and Tyler realize they may need to work together if they are to have any chance of taming, and surviving, an unprecedented outbreak of destructive tornados. 

Directed by Lee Isaac Chung (Minari) from a screenplay by Mark L. Smith (The Revenant) and based on a story by Joseph Kosinski (Top Gun: Maverick), Twisters is based on characters created by Michael Crichton and Anne-Marie Martin. 

Universal’s biggest films of the year stream first on Peacock, shortly after their theatrical debuts.
