What is Love Island Games?
Love Island Games is the newest and cheekiest iteration of Love Island, combining all the best elements of the beloved reality dating franchise with a new twist: the Islanders are fan-favorite veterans of previous seasons from across the globe, and both team and couples’ challenges will play a central role in deciding who stays and who goes.
Who is Hosting Love Island Games?
Love Island Games is hosted by Maya Jama, a British TV personality and radio DJ who also hosts Love Island UK.
Iain Stirling is back as narrator, bringing his signature style of comedic commentary to guide us through the drama.
Maura Higgins (UK, Season 5) will continue as social ambassador, hosting exclusive videos on the show’s social media accounts.
How is Love Island Games Different from Love Island?
Just like in other seasons of Love Island, Love Island Games brings together sexy singles in a secluded villa in a fabulous location (in this case, Fiji), where they will form couples and test out their connections with each other to try and find love, all while competing to avoid elimination and win the final prize. But this time, the Villa will be populated by fan-favorite Islanders from previous seasons of Love Island USA, UK, Australia, France, and more returning for a second chance at love — and victory.
In Love Island Games, team and couples’ challenges will take on much greater importance, with results determining advantages, risks, and even who stays and who goes.
As gameplay takes a central role in the special new format, high-stakes challenges will create strategic advantages for the winners, fueling even more drama as Islanders must choose between coupling up for love or to get a competitive edge.
Love Island Games Premiere and Airing Schedule
The first-ever season of Love Island Games premieres Wednesday, Nov 1, and new episodes will air six days a week, exclusively on Peacock.
