How to Watch Cincinnati Bengals vs. New York Giants: Stream on Peacock LIVE, Schedule, Kickoff Time

The 2024 NFL regular season is in full swing, and that means Sunday Night Football every week. Cap off the weekend with a massive matchup between the Cincinnati Bengals and the New York Giants.

Week 6 of the NFL season brings us another thriller on Sunday Night Football. End the day with the biggest game of the week. Peacock and NBC head to Meadowlands, NJ where the Cincinnati Bengals take on the New York Giants.

Cincinnati Bengals vs. New York Giants

The Bengals (1–4, 4th in AFC North) had a tough start to the season. After a loss to the Patriots their first week, they had to face the Chiefs and a surging Commanders team back-to-back. Their first win of the season came in Week 4 against the Panthers. Things looked like they were starting to click after that. They hung with the Ravens, tying the score at 38–38 through four quarters. They were one field goal away from sending their divisional rival home with a loss, but a missed kick led to a field goal the other way. The Ravens ended up taking that one, but there was a lot to like about Cincinnati’s performance. Putting up 38 points on the Ravens is not easy. Quarterback Joe Burrow had his best game all season, completing 76.9 percent of his passes for five touchdowns. Wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase caught 10 of those passes for 193 yards and two touchdowns. Don’t let their record fool you — this is one seriously powerful (not to mention fun) offence.

The defense has generally been slow to start in games, but they’ve shown improvement too. Even in losses, you can see this unit figuring out the opposing offense and getting more stops. They might get a lot more this weekend with key starters now healthy enough to play. Defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins will make life difficult for New York and give the Bengals defense more opportunities to get sacks and force turnovers. If the defense can improve at all, and the offense stays hot, the Bengals could start a turnaround right here on Sunday Night Football.

The Giants (2–3, 4th n NFC East) also had a tough start to the season, but picked up a couple of key wins that indicate something exciting could be happening in the Meadowlands.  After taking back-to-back losses at the beginning of the season, the Giants beat the Browns in Week 3, put up a respectable performance in a 20–15 loss to the Cowboys, then stunned the Seahawks in Seattle 29–20 just last week. For much of that game, Seattle didn’t have much of an answer to the Giants defense, and quarterback Daniel Jones moved the ball downfield with efficiency. A lot of that is thanks to the offensive line giving Jones all the time he needed to find receivers or even a running route for himself. If Jones is returning to his 2022 form, the rest of the division could be in trouble.

Unfortunately for Big Blue, they will be without star receiver Malik Nabers again this week. Nabers remains in concussion protocol, and we still don’t know exactly when he can return. The good news for New York is that Nabers was also out during last week’s win. This offense can still cook, even down a key piece. Wide Receiver Darius Slayton really stepped into the spotlight last week with eight catches for 122 yards and his first touchdown of the season. He showed everyone he can make big plays when it counts, and the Giants will be leaning on his talents again this weekend. If he can do all that again, and if the defense continues to attack the ball (and the quarterback) like they did last week, the Giants could deliver the home crowd a big win this weekend.
