How to Watch Arsenal v. Tottenham: Stream on Peacock LIVE, Schedule, Kickoff Time

The 2024/25 Premier League season continues this week when Tottenham visit Arsenal at the Emirates.

By Ian Damianov
Arsenal will face Tottenham in Premier League Wednesday at 3p ET only on Peacock.

Sitting in second place, but level on points with Nottingham Forest, Arsenal looks to close in on league-leading Liverpool with a victory in the North London Derby in Matchweek 21 of the Premier League

Arsenal v. Tottenham

Winless in their last three matches in all competitions, Arsenal looks to bounce back against one of their fiercest rivals. Now knocked out of the FA Cup and down 2-0 in their Carabao Cup matchup with Newcastle, Arsenal turns their attention back to Premier League as one of their last chances at silverware this season. Despite playing one more game than Liverpool, Arsenal still sit six points behind the league leaders. With Liverpool facing a tough test away at Nottingham Forest this week, the Gunners have a chance to lower the distance to first place with a win at home versus Tottenham. To do so, Arsenal will need to improve their efforts in front of goal, especially against a leaky Spurs defense. With Bukayo Saka still sidelined indefinitely and Gabriel Jesus potentially out for the season, the Gunners have struggled to find the back of the net recently. Having only scored two goals in their last three games, Arsenal will need Kai Havertz and Martin Ødegaard to spark creativity in the attacking third. William Saliba and Gabriel will also serve as a constant threat on set pieces throughout the match.

Defensively, Arsenal have been as good as anyone this season with seven clean sheets in Premier League so far. The pace of Spurs on the counter will prove dangerous for the Gunners’ back line, but if they can contain the likes of Heung-Min Son and Dejan Kulusevski, Arsenal can come out of this game with a victory.

Tottenham have struggled for consistency this season. Despite beating Manchester United 3-0 at Old Trafford and Manchester City 4-0 at the Etihad, Spurs have also lost 6-3 at home to Liverpool and endured 1-0 defeats to Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest in recent weeks. However, off the back of an impressive 1-0 victory over Liverpool in the first leg of the Carabao Cup and a 3-0 win in the FA Cup this past weekend, Tottenham have built momentum ahead of their visit to the Emirates. If they hope to snatch points against Arsenal, they must be swift and decisive on the break. Kulusevski has arguably been Tottenham’s best player this season and he will look to make an impact against the Gunners with his quick feet and strength on the ball. With Son on the other wing and Dominic Solanke leading the line, Spurs have the talent to create scoring opportunities when they go forward. If Pape Sarr and youngster Lucas Bergvall can successfully build up play between the midfield and the attacking third, Tottenham will hope to take at least one point from this game.

Defensively, Spurs have struggled to keep clean sheets this season. With their starting center-back duo of Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven still out with injury, Tottenham will again turn to the less experienced pair of Archie Gray and Radu Dragusin to hold their back line together. If Spurs want to take points from this match, they will have to prevent Arsenal from scoring early and avoid needless errors from playing out of back — one issue plaguing the team in recent weeks.
